BREAST CANCER
A Little History
Happy Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Started in October 1985, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month was created to increase awareness and raise funds for breast cancer patients and survivors, as well as educate women about early screenings, testing, and more.
As the daughters of breast cancer survivors, Ashley and I feel an intensely personal connection to this cause and have partnered with @makingstrides.bayarea throughout the month of October to raffle off blooms to raise awareness. Please give them a follow to see all of the amazing work they do throughout the year.
Watch this space for a weekly breast cancer awareness post. We’re excited to help shine some light on this important cause and honor our Mother’s legacy.
We are also offering the “survivor” arrangement for delivery in the Bay Area 10% of each bouquet will be donated to Making Strides.
